Phoebe Stein


Phoebe is a marketing communications specialist with nearly 30 years of experience in the industry. Her vast background includes work on behalf of consumer, corporate, business-to-business, not-for profit, retail and government clients.

With a focus on branding and positioning, Phoebe has executed numerous successful public relations and marketing initiatives. They include Hunter Douglas; Sony Electronics; General Motors; Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), Bayer Aspirin; US West Communications; International Hospitality Week; Hospitality Design Magazine; Hospitality Design Expo and Conference; HD Asia; Design Origins by Shaw; Silver State Inc.; CORE architecture + design; Crypton®Super Fabric; Jane Hamley Wells to name a few.

Her work in crisis management on behalf of Alyeska Pipeline Company and The Alaska Division of Tourism, in the aftermath of the Exxon Valdez oil spill, earned her a PRSA Silver Anvil Commendation Award.

Over time, galvanizing industry leaders for a common cause led Phoebe into co-developing strategic industry events. They include InspireDesign, a hospitality and contract design show, held at the Las Vegas World Market Center, and the newly developed Healthcare Design Exchange, a Questex event designed to serve the healthcare design marketplace.

A champion of corporate philanthropy, Phoebe has developed and executed unique programs such as the successful My First Sony program benefiting Chicago’s inner-city children and made possible by the partnership of Sony Electronics Inc., Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) and Urban Gateways.

Phoebe has served as in-house, independent public relations counsel at Leo Burnett, has managed national accounts for a global public relations firm and now provides Executive Partners’ clients with high powered public relations support. As a Senior Partner in Executive Partners, she has helped our clients with clear and concise communication strategies, both inside the organization and out.

Raised around the world, Phoebe has a keen awareness and appreciation of diverse cultures, which enables her to be an effective communicator, both domestically and globally.

A graduate of The University of Arizona, Phoebe holds degrees in Radio and Television and Journalism. She resides in Chicago with her husband and two children.
